 Delia O'Donohue worked as a lecturer in social work at Monash University for seven years before joining Jesuit Social Services in December 2004. Her work at the university included teaching drug and alcohol counselling skills, general fieldwork skills and assisting with the establishment of a BSW course in Singapore. Delia has a Masters in Social Work and has undertaken studies in family therapy.
Delia has worked in various roles within the human services field including as a practitioner and manager in community based corrections and in the adolescent welfare field. She has undertaken research work in relation to adolescent health and substance abuse issues and has contributed chapters to books on harm minimisation and direct practice skills.
