Providing support and services to young people making the
transition from custody to the community.
Pathways Youth Justice Housing Women's Integrated Support Program (WISP)
About Us The Brosnan Centre, founded thirty years ago, focuses on young people aged 17-25 years who have difficultly reintegrating into the community after their sentences have been completed: those with the least support and hope. We target young people who have complex needs related to isolation, homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse, mental illness and intellectual disability. Our staff start building relationships with young people whilst they are still incarcerated. This continues post release and includes practical assistance with everything involved in successful reintegration into the community: housing, drug and alcohol counselling, reconnecting with family, recreation options, and pathways to education, training and employment. |
