Women's Integrated Support Program (WISP)
The first months after release can be a difficult time for
young people who may not have strong family support, stable
accommodation or good prospects for employment, and the Brosnan
Centre is committed to providing practical, positive and personal
services to help them get through this challenging period.
Post
Release Support services provided by The Brosnan Centre include:
Independent and supported accommodation, outreach, drug and
alcohol counselling, employment/training advice, family and
relationship counselling, court advice and advocacy, and institutional
visiting.
The
Brosnan Centre also provides a seven point check list for
young persons upon their release from correctional facilities.
The brochure assists young people recently released from prison
with their transition back into society.
