 Darren Walls is a Business Consultant with extensive experience in sales and marketing in both the commercial and not for profit sectors. His current role is in the area of Business Strategy Development with the Groset division of Grollo Australia focused in the Tourism Industry.
Prior to this Darren was Corporate Marketing Manager and later consultant to Zoos Victoria to develop a strategic business direction and undertake a business restructure. This role encompassed the management and strategic direction of marketing/ communications, sponsorship/relationship management, retail, catering and commercial development and delivered significant results with new corporate sponsorship, increase in retail revenues, improved marketing and management initiatives. Darren was contracted by Jesuit Social Services in 2005 to develop a strategic fundraising plan, joined the Board in September 2006 and serves as Chair of the Fundraising Committee. Darren's education was in Science at Melbourne University and Agricultural and Resource Economics at La Trobe University as well as Diploma of Financial Markets at the Australian Securities Institute. He is currently enrolled in post graduate studies with the Australian Securities Institute. |
