Finding out about work, deciding what work suits, then trying it out and
getting a job are just some of the many ways that Gateway helps young
people to get employment. Gateway offers young people assistance to
suit their particular skills, personal circumstances and interests.
This includes:

  • Finding out about jobs and careers
  • Learning about qualifications for jobs
  • Goal setting for work
  • Job hunting sessions
  • Resume writing
  • Applying for jobs in writing, over the phone and job
    interview techniques
  • Accessing job seeker accounts to help out with clothing,
    training, transport to start a new job
