Staff at Jesuit Social Services Collingwood gathered this morning with 'baked goodies' in arm for the 2011 Bakeoff. The Bakeoff has been a highly contested event in the past with much prestige bestowed upon the winners. This year, the Bakeoff was used to raise funds for one of the Rudder Mentoring Program participants, Autumn, who has been diagnosed with cancer so that she can attend a cancer healing retreat.

Everyone enjoyed a fabulous morning tea (a much needed 'sugar boost' first thing on a Thursday morning!) and had fun voting for their favourite entry for each category: most visually appealing; most delicious; most popular; best savoury and most suspicious (entry voted to be most likely purchased from a bakery).

A total of $192 was raised and will be passed to Autumn at the Cahoots Exhibition Launch on Thursday 15th December 2011.

Congratulations to all those who entered and a big thank you to everyone for their generous donations! Further donations would be gratefully accepted - call Forest on (03) 9415 8700.
