JUST MUSIC - A BENEFIT ALBUM FOR JESUIT SOCIAL SERVICES

A multi-styled, multi-national, multi-award winning collection of musicians have put their hands up to be part of an innovative new album and donate a previously unreleased track or rare recording to help some of our most disadvantaged Australians.

They JUSTMUSIC_image_for_weball contribute to a benefit album titled JUST MUSIC which marks the 35th anniversary of Jesuit Social Services. Waleed Aly, ABC Radio National Host, said "It's the easiest thing in the world to write people off. It takes no imagination, no courage, no effort. But to look at someone whose life has gone off track, and see that they aren't so different to you; that they just need someone to believe in and support them - and then to be that someone - that is heroic.''

Waleed joins an impressive line up of artists who are all showing their support of Jesuit Social Services, including Paul Kelly, Clare Bowditch, Xavier Rudd and many more. For the full list of artists and tracks on the album please see list below.

The benefit album will be launched on Sunday the 4th of March in The Famous Spiegeltent, at the Arts Centre, Melbourne. Artists off of the album who will be performing at the launch include Robot Child with Waleed Aly, David Bridie and the Sheilas, Jesse and Ella Hooper amongst others. To buy tickets to the launch (entry price includes a copy of the album) please visit www.jss.org.au.
